These days I go through life using a smartphone,
and I noticed the default SMF theme for mobile browsers looks
pretty usable. It might be worth investigating how to do
something similar to the front page.
I guess it uses browser id.

I wonder if the
length of your average
line in that post
provides an indication on
the size of the screen
you were posting on.

I am also posting from a phone.
IMO the default theme looks very good on the limited 800x480 screen.
will take a long time to get used to touchscreen typing though.

But what does it look like at 480x800(aka portrait mode)?

Very usable. The full width of the post fits in and the text is readable, but a little on the small side.
Now that cyanogen is installed, I wonder if osirion will compile.

Now posting from a samsung galaxy running android.2.3.3, a lot more stable but half resolution screen is not so enjoyable for browsing, and the touch keyboard is less forgiving
