Forum registration and spambots

After yet another bad case of spambots, forum user registration is  temporarily disabled.
I'm looking into a usable solution, are-you-human questions might be a good start.

AS a first step, I updated the forum to the latest version.
Please report if you see General Weirdness wandering about.

I installed an SMF mod to add verification questions to the registration page. I've put a rather dumb question in place,
but since that's the point anyway it could work. In a few days we'll probably know it if works or not.
